Dr. Lauren Elder PhD, ABPP

Dr. Elder has over 20 years of experience providing consulting services in the U.S. as well as internationally. Clients include families, clinics, foundations, government agencies and corporations with behavioral products in development.

Dr. Elder is highly sought after to deliver trainings on a variety of early intervention and mental health topics. Dr. Elder uses an evidence-based approach to help all clients from families to corporations develop and implement a plan of action.


Dr. Elder completed her internship and postdoctoral work at UCLA. Her internship was focused on developmental disabilities, and she gained extensive experience treating children with autism and Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. She also received extensive training in psychological assessment and psychotherapy through her work with children, adults, and families. Her training encompassed behavioral disorders such as oppositional defiant disorder, autism, ADHD, trauma, developmental delay, social skills, depression, anxiety, divorce, and many other common reasons for seeking therapy.

While Dr. Elder enjoys working with all ages, her favorite is the toddler age. In fact, she has two toddlers at home!
